Expertise dedicated to data centre cooling
Liquid cooling is emerging as a key technology to meet the growing performance and energy-efficiency needs of data centres. This approach relies on essential metal components, such as cold plates, heat exchangers and cooling circuits, whose surfaces must guarantee absolute corrosion resistance, excellent resistance to thermal cycling and perfect compatibility with heat-transfer fluids.
METAL-X positions itself in this market by bringing its expertise in the surface treatment of stainless steel, notably through stainless steel passivation and electropolishing. Treatments particularly suited to the components and circuits used in liquid cooling.

A technological evolution born from our expertise in silver nano-carbon composite treatments
Silver nano-carbon treatment is a direct evolution of our existing silver-graphite composite treatment.
This innovation produces a thinner deposit while retaining the required functional properties. Beyond the technical gain, this new solution also brings significant benefits in terms of assembly and appearance. This development is fully in line with our CSR approach and reflects our commitment to continuously improving the performance and quality of our surface treatments.

Developing surface treatments for the new requirements of sustainable mobility
E-mobility is bringing new technological and innovation challenges. Electric vehicles and hydrogen technologies incorporate a growing number of electronic and conductive components subject to heavy constraints: high electrical currents, rising temperatures, corrosion, miniaturisation and increased reliability requirements. In this context, surface treatment becomes strategic to guarantee the performance and durability of next-generation mobility systems.
Thanks to our expertise, we support e-mobility players in developing coating solutions suited to these new needs. Beyond our existing processes, we develop specific treatments meeting the requirements of electrical and hydrogen applications: optimising conductivity, limiting galvanic corrosion, improving thermal resistance, stabilising electrical contacts and ensuring compatibility with the new lightweight materials used in EV architectures. Our solutions apply in particular to power connectors, busbars, battery systems, on-board electronic components and parts for fuel cells.
Our capacity for innovation and co-development allows us to support the evolution of sustainable mobility technologies with high value-added surface treatment solutions.
