Contact form: name, email address, telephone, subject of the request and message. This data is used solely to handle your quote or information request (legal basis: pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest). It is passed to the relevant Metal-X departments and kept for a maximum of 3 years after the last contact.
Application form: identity, contact details, CV and the information you provide. This data is used solely to manage your application (legal basis: pre-contractual measures). It is accessible to the people in charge of recruitment at Metal-X and kept for a maximum of 2 years after the last contact, unless you request its deletion.
Your data is neither sold, rented, nor passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
Cookies and trackers
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential trackers. The site uses cookies strictly necessary for its operation (exempt from consent) and loads certain third-party content only after your agreement, notably the LinkedIn feed (Elfsight widget). You can change your choice at any time via the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the page.
The site’s forms are protected against automated submissions by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-spam solution that checks the submission comes from a human, without setting any cookie or tracking your browsing. As such, it is exempt from consent.
This website uses Umami, a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics solution: it sets no cookies, collects no personal data and performs no cross-site tracking. As such, it is exempt from consent and runs without a cookie banner.
Hosting and subprocessors
The site is hosted by Infomaniak (Switzerland, a country recognised by the European Commission as ensuring an adequate level of protection). Metal-X’s emails are operated via Microsoft 365. The LinkedIn feed is displayed via the Elfsight service. These providers process the data strictly on behalf of Metal-X.
Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise them: accueil@metal-x.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Security
Metal-X implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data (encrypted HTTPS connection, restricted access, security updates).
